Rejection due to not tagged as AI-generated.

Has anyone’s content been rejected for not tagging it as AI-generated, even though the asset was not created using AI?

Is re-submitting the only option in this scenario?

    Hi @sameer_0584 ,

Yes, I had that kind of refusal recently. In the refusal notice was an optional link to contact Adobe. I contacted Adobe via the contact link to let them know the file was not an AI file but a photograph. In any case there was an issue with the file that I corrected and resubmit. Also, it featured a section of a model that I submitted a release. Therefore, you will need to inspect the file for issues, and if people or property are included in the image. If there are issues, correct them. If people are in the image, it’s safer to get a model release submitted. If property is included, submit a property release or remove the property if yo cannot locate the owner. If all is well with the file resubmit it. Remember to contact Adobe about the file, letting them know it’s not an AI file using the contact link provided.

    Best wishes

    Jacquelin

Was it refused for Noncompliance?  If so, it may have been rejected for other reasons besides AI labeling. See below.

No I have received this error quite often. I You do not have to resubmit. I used the “Contact Us” link on the bottom of my dashboard page explaining that a mistake has been made in the rejection and that my asset is a photograph. I list the tools used in the editing and give the Adobe asset ID. I then request that the asset be reviewed again. After a few days the objects are either accepted or rejected with the correct reason. Again, you do not need to resubmit.

In hindsight, I do recall contacting support about this has worked in the past. If the asset is art work, not a photograph, we’ve also recommended re-submitting with a property release.

It can happen. You could try posting the image here and we can take a look or try resubmitting.
