"rejection for intellectual property reasons" was the rejection reason for an astrofotography image of IC5070 I took several weeks ago. Who would be declared as owner of this property?

This is the picture. It’s a RGBSHO Image taken with a QHY268m and processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop. No genAi used - just denoise and deconvolution.

 

Can someone help me understand why such a picture is rejected with the reason “intellectual property”?

    It is because such photos are rarely taken by private persons. Just fill out a property release signed by yourself as the owner and it should get excepted.

    They probably assumed you got it from NASA or JWST.
