Rejection Message "Contact Us" - No Response from Adobe

Hi  I have a little over 2000 images for sale and thought that by now I understood what Adobe like and dislike.  However over the last couple of months something has changed.  The rejection rate is much higher for perfectly good images which have been accepted and sold elsewhere.  Secondly I am getting some images rejected with the message  "Thanks for giving us the chance to consider your image. Unfortunately we were unable to process your file. Please contact us for more information."  However when I send a message asking for more information I don't get a reply (I sent multiple messages and have waited three weeks - no response)  Finally Adobe appear to have stopped moderating my images - some of my images have been waiting well over 4 weeks.  Does anybody know what is going on?

Hi @dvlcom ,

No we don't know what is going on. I have photos waiting for much longer time than usual, therefore, I don't know what to say about that. The refusal rate have increased and a number of us have observed moderation errors. However, on the point of other platform accepting your photos as a basis for concluding that they are ok photo, is not necessarily an accurate assumption. There are many times files have errors and are accepted on other platforms. I'd suggest, just to be sure, submit about 3 here for us to take a look to confirm if there're errors that the other platforms overlook.

Regarding the refusal reason you post, I never come across that before and would be unable to assist. A research I did indicate that others have had this message. It is possible the files are corrupt. I suggest you submit one here for us to look at in case we can ID an error. Tag me to the post with the file.

Regards

Jacquelin

Hi @dvlcom ,

This is a poor quality noisy image. I get the impression it is highly compresst as when used for thumbnail.

What refusal reason you got for this one?

Best wishes

Jacquelin

It would be helpful if you would post 1 or 2 of the rejected images so that we could review them.

I have uploaded one of the images - it's nothing special.  I normally get a rejection rate of around 10 - 20 % until the last month or so.  My main question isn't why a particular image has been rejected it it more along the lines of  Why have I been asked to Contact Adobe, and why are they apparently ignoring me when I do contact them...  Has anybody else been asked to contact them and have you had more success getting an answer?

That seems to be a new rejection message. You need to wait for an answer. Adobe contributor support answers via e-mail, so watch your spam folder. According to Adobe, they try to answer at the earliest, but you need to consider that weekends contributor support does not work. And it seems that currently, contributor support is flooded with requests from suspended accounts.

Don't spam their queue. If after 14 days, you do not have an answer, resend a friendly reminder.
