Rejection of AI files

Dear authors, hello.
I would be glad for your help in understanding file rejection. Santa on transparent background is rejected, but the same one was rejected in jpeg. Why did not accept Jesus in jpeg? Maybe the composition and format, the location matters? I mean, is it better to make it horizontal? Can you help me with the eggs? I think they're perfect, no?
And there's another question. If there is a work in the portfolio in a vector based on AI that was uploaded a long time ago, when there was no way to mark the vector as AI. Is it worth deleting it now and reloading it marked to avoid account issues? How serious is it?
Thanks!!!

Hi @MarinaR ,

Re your second question. I'd let it stay. The rule then was what it was. I'm sure Adobe made provision for what the rule was. Just continue submitting new stuff according to the current rule. If a customer has an issue with it, Adobe will delete it and notify you.

Best wishes

Thank you very much for your feedback. Already deleted some files from the portfolio. I have decided not to subject the portfolio to any blocking. I already have a blocking in Shutterstock, even though the files are not a true copy of AI. I don't want such problems on Adobe as well. Thank you for the detailed analysis of my works.

Hi @MarinaR ,

There's an issue with the shape and angle of the eyes. There's also an issue with the glasses near the right side of the nose.

There is an issue with the length of the left hand fingers.

The right boot is not properly rendered.

The second picture

I'd say the man's eyes are a bit deep, but there is this strange hole above his left eye, plus the quality of that eye is not good.

The eggs have edge and margin issues

This indent at the edge of the egg.

The margin/edge line for the pattern of this egg does not meet.

The edge of the top layer shifts from that of the bottom layer showing two edges for these eggs.

You need to zoom in at between 100 and 200% to inspect you images for errors before uploading them.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

If you submit an asset as a transparent PNG you do NOT need to submit it simultaneously in JPG. Adobe will create the jpg version automatically.

It was an experiment. PNG was not accepted, jpeg was approved, why?
Thank you.

Probably edge cutout issues, which is a frequent reason for transparent PNG's to be rejected.

Take a closer look (200%) at Santa's glasses, eyebrows and teeth. Jesus: the fly-away hairs.

Understood, I need to zoom in really hard before posting. Thank you.
