Question

Rejection of pictures - no idea why

Dear Adobe, I´ve been submitting multiple images of this series where the following ones (and more) were rejected due to "quality issues". I´d love to learn why. Others were accepted with little deviation.

Hello,

As @jacquelingphoto2017 mentioned the first photo is a tad blue, so you really should aim for something like this:

The white should be more white!

I also think the focus could cause problems for rejection. The 'accepted photo' really does have focus problems

Hi @El Benedikt ,

The first file has a white balance issue. The white is not white, but blue. While the composition might not be the reason for this refusal, I believe the subject could be better composed. The edges you crop off should have been included in the framing, or if it were that you wanted to zoom in on a specific section of the subject, you should have gone in closer to make it clear where you were highlighting.

The second and third images are out of focus.

The fourth file has a white balance issue. The white section is blue. It is not in focus and has green color fringing on the edge.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

Middle distance shot of archery target with six arrows in yellow gold hitting bulls eye successfully scoring.jpg - the arrows Three arrows hit target center on olympic bow and arrow archery target successfully close up shot 2.jpg - DOF is too shallow and very little is in focus.

Six arrows hit target center on olympic bow and arrow archery target successfully close up shot 5.jpg - same as above.

"Three arrows" and "Six arrows: the target itself is out of focus in both images.

Hm, not really what reflects the acceptance of similarly focused images of the series. Any other ideas?

Don't know, having not seen the accepted assets.
