Rejection Reasons Untrue?

I just received notice that two images I recently submitted were rejected:  Hearts and Hearts 1.

The reasons listed are as follows:

- Non compliant use of another artist’s name.

- Undeclared Generative AI Content.

- Content not compliant with overall guidelines:

This thoroughly confused me.

I am the artist who created these images.  There's no other "artist's name" for me to have not complied with.

No Photoshop was used whatsoever--so no "Generative AI".  All edits were done in Lightroom.  As part of the edit, I deleted the staples which were originally visible on the paper hearts, using Lightroom's "heal" and "content aware remove" tools (the little eraser and band-aid toos).

The photos were captured using a real camera, lens, and studio strobe.

Any ideas what Adobe is on about?

Nice photo. I assume the moderator thought that it was an AI-generated image.

Your only option is to use the "Contact us" link on your dashboard.  Choose the category "Content" and the subcategory "Rejection reason". Maybe you will get lucky.

The rejection reason is “Non-compliant image”, the text that you listed is only confusing stock text, enumerating the most common reasons for this. It does not mean that it is the true reason.

Photoshop is not a sign of generative AI use.

In my eyes, we have here again a classical error of the moderator. The refusal reason should be “Quality issues”, I see some of them.

In addition, it's quite noisy, and the DOF is not great.

It's a nice idea, but you should take it back to the drawing board.
