If you're a repeat violator, it could.

Going forward, pay closer attention to what you upload to Stock.

I agree with @RALPH_L . If Adobe wanted to block accounts for this infraction of their guidelines they would already have done so. Nevertheless, I suppose if they encounter an account that has mass numbers of duplicates and similars, that could still happen. Spamming is one if the major reasons for account suspensions.

I think that onen sentencequoted by RALPH_L above, is actually  quite clear and understandable.   I think it means that Adobe will find duplicates and will delete all but one of them.  But the ones they will delete will be those least likely to be downloaded and the one left will be the one most likely to be downloaded, thereby creating minimum impact on the porfolio.

Sure. The accounts that spammed the database massively with duplicates and got caught won't get that e-mail. They will be terminated without an e-mail. So if you get that e-mail, you will lose some assets because you did not exactly pay attention, and you inadvertently submitted a few duplicates.

Some people, for example, did not know, that by submitting a vector file, the PNG, and the JPEG will be generated automatically. This confuses buyers because they license the wrong asset. Those are duplicates that, if detected, will be deleted.

And then there are those that submitted 10 assets, and two years later again 10 assets, with 2 assets that were submitted in the first batch too. That can happen, if you are not organized and the tool you use to submit does not manage that. But that's far from spamming.

In conclusion: OP should not start making too much of a fuss of that e-mail. It won't really hurt the account. Adobe just does some clean-up, as they did when they deleted the nude pictures.

"All assets were evaluated to ensure minimal impact to your portfolio." That means, for me, this is not meant to close accounts.
