Request for Clarification on Image Rejections

Dear Adobe Stock Contributor Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

Through considerable effort and dedication, I have generated a large number of high-quality images using generative AI tools. While uploading these images, I ensured that the "Created using generative AI tools" option was selected, and under "Recognisable people or property?" I appropriately chose "No."

Creating such high-quality images is a challenging task, requiring meticulously crafted prompts and a high level of professionalism. Additionally, I ensured that all images meet or exceed expectations in terms of resolution and DPI.

I also ensured that each image was accompanied by correct SEO-friendly titles and relevant keywords, designed to improve discoverability and align with your platform's requirements.

However, over the past few days, I have noticed that many of my images have been rejected due to "Quality Issues." Unfortunately, the specific reasons for these rejections have not been clearly or explicitly outlined. This lack of clarity makes it difficult for me to understand where my images might not align with Adobe Stock's guidelines.

I kindly request your guidance to help me identify the exact areas where my submissions fell short of the required standards. Such feedback would be immensely helpful in enabling me to address any issues and ensure that future uploads meet your quality requirements.

Thank you for your time and understanding. I greatly appreciate your support and look forward to hearing from you.

No one in the Contributor community can look into your account to find rejected images. If you want feedback from your fellow Contributors here in this Community, post a few of the rejected images here in full size (no thumbnails).

Dear Adobe Stock Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I have created over 100 high-quality images using generative AI tools and successfully uploaded them with relevant titles and keywords. During the upload process, I selected the option "Created using generative AI tools" and, under "Recognisable people or property?", appropriately chose "No" to disclose that the images were AI-generated.

All images adhere to your platform's basic requirements, including:

  • High Resolution
  • Clear View
  • Situation-Based Colour Combinations
  • Correct File Extensions and Sizes

Despite complying with these standards, many of my images were rejected due to "Quality Issues", without specific reasons or detailed feedback. Below are some examples of the rejected images:

  • File ID: 1208362265
  • File ID: 1208307034
  • File ID: 1206831822

I kindly request clarification on:

  1. What specific quality issues were identified?
  2. Why were these images rejected without explicit details?

Additionally, some of my images were sent to the "Reminder" tab, requesting Model Releases, even though I had disclosed during the upload that:

  • The images were generated using AI tools,
  • They do not include any recognisable human or property.

I previously raised this issue on 23 January 2025 via email to contributor-support@adobe.com (Ticket ID: 00344644). The response suggested resubmitting the images, yet the same problems persist. Many professionally crafted images are either being rejected or flagged for Model Releases unnecessarily.

Below are the "Reminder" tab images:

  • File ID: 1212260885
  • File ID: 1211298021
  • File ID: 1210713322
  • File ID: 1210315815

I would greatly appreciate it if your team could:

  • Review the rejected images again,
  • Provide specific feedback, and
  • Approve the qualifying images accordingly.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Kind regards,
Gourab Mazumder

You need to examine your assets more carefully at 100% to even 200% to find errors.

Hello,

As this is a contributor forum, the moderation team does not look at his forum. So, this means that you can submit some examples of your rejections here and have fellow contributors give their advice on what quality issues there are.

You have quite a few so only post 2-3 examples. Generally, the issues are consistent.

As you have done generative AI images, there are some things to look out for, namely, the AI rendering. Look closely at how this is done.

DPI is irrelevant - it is relevant in terms of printing!

Quality issues include white balance, composition, focus (which is probably not an issue in AI images) and so on.

Have a read of this. It's a brief guide on quality:
