Request for Guidance on Temporarily Suspended Contributor Account

Hello Adobe Stock Contributors,

I hope you are doing well. I am reaching out to seek advice regarding an urgent issue with my contributor account. Recently, my account was temporarily blocked due to unusual download activity.

I would like to respectfully share that I had immediately informed Adobe on the same day these downloads occurred, requesting them to kindly check why there was such a high number of downloads on my account. (You may recall, I had drafted that email earlier.) I am also attaching screenshots of the emails I sent to Adobe as well as a screenshot of my account for reference.

Adobe replied at that time:

“If sellers (contributors) are not purchasing their own content and not engaging with third parties or in agreement with other illegal buying schemes, they will be fine. Your account will be reviewed.”

I am an individual contributor and have always followed Adobe Stock’s guidelines. I have never purchased my own content or participated in any third-party download schemes. I have worked years creating my assets, and I currently have around 8,000–9,000 assets, which bring a modest monthly income.

I humbly request that no harsh action be taken against my account. My livelihood depends almost entirely on Adobe Stock payments, and I struggle to support my household. My work represents years of effort, and it would be devastating to lose access to my portfolio.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice from the community on how to handle this situation effectively and communicate with Adobe Stock in a way that ensures my account is restored fairly.

Thank you very much for your time and support.

You are not addressing Adobe directly here in this forum, and will receive no reply here from an Adobe rep. If you have already reached out to Adobe using the Contact Us link, that's all you can do. If it has been more than a few weeks since you contact them, you should follow up once again, though it is not recommended that you badger the Stock Contributor Support team with repeated queries, as that just bogs down their system.

Unusual account activity could mean many things, from excessive downloads by bots or too many refund requests.  In any case, your account will be blocked from activity while Adobe conducts their internal audit.  Be patient and don't panic. This is normal operating procedure.

While you wait, work on other projects and feel free to submit content to other agencies.

Good luck.
