"Room for text" or "room for copy"?

I submitting images intended to have room for text, which phrase/keyword would cause them to surface to searchers better - "room for copy" or "room for text"? I'd like to put one or the other in the title; not sure which is best.

That's easy image analysis. That can be automated, without using an ounce of AI.

That's true. And Adobe's blog confirms that they use Adobe Sensei, their AI image analysis system, to identify room for copy as well as many other subtleties, including finding similar images.

Just out of curiosity, I did a lil' test. I searched for several variations.
I know there's a filter but it's possible some users search instead.

copy space: 25 million
space for text: 23 million
space for copy: 11 million
images with copy space: 2 million
room for copy: 600k
room for text: 490k

What this means, I don't know. Is "room for text" better because there are fewer search results and you're slightly more likely to surface?

You need no keyword for that. Adobe has a filter "Images with copy space" which automaticaly filters images.
I do see though, that the words "copy space" are often used in titles. Do buyers use the search words or the filter?

I would try avoid adding "copy" to JPG images and pngs. Not every one has access to decent image editing software or knowledge on how to remove text. Makes some people frustrated when they remove things of that nature. Even adding them to vector graphics can be a bit tricky as well since again not every one has access to software But I guess if you feel that its necessary to add text to a vector its probably not as bad to do so.

Just saying....

Room for copy text is empty space around the subject.

Customers will add their own fonts, languages and messages after purchase.

I use copy space myself, but I suppose your examples would work just as well. But not that there is also the option for buyers to select "Images with Copy Space" in the list of filtering options.

Ah, that's true, maybe "Images with Copy Space" would make more sense.
Worth a try.

2019 AI, yes. As I said, it's easy to implement and does not require AI.
