Sales Not Updated on Dashboard After a Friend Purchased My Stock Photo

Hi everyone,

I created an Adobe Stock contributor account and uploaded some photos for sale. About a month ago, I asked a friend to purchase one of my photos to test the system and see how everything works.

However, even after a month, I don’t see any sales reflected on my Dashboard. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Could there be a delay, or is there something I need to do to ensure the sale is recorded?

I’d appreciate any insights or advice. Thank you!

Your friend or yourself?

Trial assets don't count as sales.

You just need to trust the process and wait for actual sales to occur.

After 45 days from your first sale, and when you've accrued at least $25 in royalties, you can request a payout.

Until then, keep working on building up your portfolio with high quality assets.

Besides the fact that this smells fraudulent, sales are recorded instantly. You get an e-mail once a day with a summary of your sales, if there were any.

You don't generate sales for downloading the preview, however.

Careful. Such activities can also get your account suspended.

How many assets have you had approved? A month is not that long to wait for your first sale.

A "friend" cannot purchase an image without paying for an Adobe Stock Subscription. Are you certain that your friend has a subscription?

I am certain that my friend has purchased and paid for Adobe. I also had a transaction involving the sale of my own image, but I do not see any revenue reflected.
thanks

Adobe Stock is a separate subscription, and is not included with any of the other subscriptions such as Photoshop or Lightroom.

What do you mean by "I also had a transaction involving the sale of my own image"?
