Same Image Sold 7 Times in a Row

Hi everyone,

I noticed something a bit unusual with one of my images on Adobe Stock it sold 7 times in a row, all at the exact same price, within a pretty short timeframe.

Here are the timestamps of the sales:

  • 4/27/2025, 5:02:32 AM

  • 4/27/2025, 5:00:53 AM

  • 4/27/2025, 4:57:21 AM

  • 4/27/2025, 4:20:00 AM

  • 4/27/2025, 1:02:14 AM

  • 4/26/2025, 5:56:54 AM

  • 4/26/2025, 5:53:20 AM

The sales are pretty close together, especially the last few within just minutes of each other. This has never happened to me before, so I’m wondering if this is normal behavior on the platform (maybe a bulk purchase or subscription download?) or if it could possibly be a glitch.

Has anyone else experienced something like this, or does anyone know how this kind of thing works?

Thanks a lot for any info!

Great. I would suspect a teacher who selected your asset, and all the students licenced the same item. Or something like this.

I once had one of my files was downloaded 4 times in a row within a minute or two. It's okay. It happens, very rarely, but it does.

Also, according to the timestamps you provided, I wouldn't say that it was obligatory the same person who downloaded your file. The time span is rather large. I'd say there are 4 downloaders:

1) 4/27/2025, 5:02:32 AM
4/27/2025, 5:00:53 AM
4/27/2025, 4:57:21 AM

2) 4/27/2025, 4:20:00 AM

3) 4/27/2025, 1:02:14 AM

4) 4/26/2025, 5:56:54 AM
4/26/2025, 5:53:20 AM

This happened to me once. Maybe more like five times rather than seven. I wrote it off as someone who was using Adobe Stock for the first time and were confused about what they were doing. It's also more likely that the asset is going to be used for multiple projects but requiring the same asset in each, such as for a theme project. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Thank you so much for the reply!

I was wondering if it might be something like that, either someone new or a buyer needing the asset for different projects. Good to hear it’s not unheard of. I appreciate the reassurance!

I did send a message to Adobe Support just in case, but your reply definitely puts my mind at ease.
