Santa Rejected as Non Compliant...not sure why.

I'm adapting old OLD illustration work for Adobe Stock as the 99% of my work is done as work for hire and I'm unable to license it.

This was an old Christmas card design-for my own personal use. I changed the size to meet the 4MP requirement.

It's Photoshop, not vector.

I'm stumped. I've had one pass and one fail so far.

Thanks for your help!

L

Have you submitted it as illustration?

I think you have to submit a property release stating it‘s your own work or submit a reference artwork.

Well, I attached the property release statement and my illustration was rejected again. I remain stumped as to why. I wish there was a clearer explanation-maybe 2-3 bullet pointed sentences-that say why a piece is rejected. Re-reading again the non compliance explanation just isn't that helpful to me unfortunately. *sigh*

It's standard text. The moderator needs to decide quickly to accept or reject and pass on the next image in the queue. And additionally the messages are localised. There are no additional information with any of my stock providers.

Yes, I submitted it as an illustration.

Another piece of art I submitted went through fine without a property release statement. That is why I am so stumped as to why this was rejected. None of the non compliant reasons seem to fit for why it was rejected.

Can I resubmit? I'll try the property release if I am able to resubmit.

Thanks.

Yes, you can resubmit. And yes add the property release. The problem is that humans are checking. One may decide this way, the other the other way...

Hello Abambo, This has happened to me too. I think the submitted work might look too similar to something on the market and the claim of making the work does not completely convince the reviewer. I have a plagiarism checker on my writing software and it checks sentences with words that are too much like mine. Perhaps Adobe has some sort of program for similar images. ? Regards, JH

Without seeing your image as presented, we can’t help you. Only this: Reasons content is rejected at Adobe Stock .

The link should bring you directly to the non-compliant rejection.

I've posted the image above that was rejected for Non Compliance reasons-but after reading the Non Compliance reasons I am still stumped as to why it was refused. I am looking for input from others who might see why it has been where I can't.
