Second round of submission?

Hello nice people!

The first submission round seems to be capped at 51 assets for a new contributor, but does anyone on the forum knows how the second round of submission looks like? Is it capped at 51 too, does it depend on your first round and/or on the type of assets submitted?

Thank you very much in advance for any feedback.

PS - Please forgive any language mistake, I live in Switzerland and I am a native French speaker.

Adobe does not reveal their internal business practices, so anything we say would be pure speculation. We do know that the limit is intended to incentivize new contributors to submit only their best work, with high technical quality and few similars. The low limit of 51 assets appears to be applicable to newly established accounts. Once your account starts to achieve some success in the form of a decent percentage of accepted assets and some sales, the limit will be raised.

I think it would be safe to say that, if anything, it's not the number of images accepted that will level you up, but the number of images sold.

It's probably a magic formula, a little bit of this, a little bit of that… And I'm convinced that the number of rejections plays in too.

Thank you. I was just curious if any new contributor was around here, who has passed the first submission round and could share what was their new limit. (I do understand that it might be specific to their account though, and also that Adobe does not reveal its internal rules).

I am not impatient, at this time I don't even have 51 new ones ready anyway. I've submitted my first 4 assets a month ago (in the meantime I reached 51 - only submitting my very best ones) and I think I will begin to worry if they have not been validated by next Jan.(which would then be 4 months after my first submission).

I must say this forum has been a source of invaluable information. Adobe external guidelines are publicly available, but reading the community comments has helped me to understand them even better. So big thanks to everyone who is contributing on this forum, for your patience and your knowledge.

PS- Once my first assets will have been reviewed, I will come back on the forum to share what is my new limit (if it's not against any Adobe rule to share this), in case a new contributor is wondering the same thing than me.

I don't believe there is anyone here who knows the answer to this question. It could be based on the length of time you have been a member, your acceptance to rejection ratio, etc. Or, there may come a time when the limit is lifted completely. We just don't know for sure as far as I'm aware.

Thank you for your kind reply. After reading this forum for few days already, it seems like Adobe is full of surprises, like a box of Swiss chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get! (I love surprises) 😉

I'm more for Belgium chocolate… 🙂

The limit has been introduced recently to protect equal access to the moderation team. New users seam to have a limit of 51, the highest limit we are aware of is 3001. Formerly, this was not a problem as moderation was quite fast. But with the arrival of generative AI, it appears that people were able to submit thousands of assets per week, and that derailed a speedy moderation. You will need to climb the hierarchy by submitting quality assets and earning a low number of refusals. Please keep in mind that Stock is about customers and not about contributors. And the participants here in this forum are mostly highly experienced contributors, like @Jill_C and @daniellei4510. And we are volunteers, not Adobe employees. We know a lot, but not all of Adobe's secrets.
