Subject: Seeking Advice: Unusual Spike in Downloads and No Response from Support

Message: Hi everyone,

I’ve been a contributor to Adobe Stock for over 6 years and have always maintained a clean track record. However, for the past few weeks, I’ve noticed a very unusual and suspicious surge in downloads that doesn't match my typical performance.

I am concerned that this might be bot activity or irregular downloads beyond my control. I’ve already sent multiple emails to the support team to report this, as I want to ensure my account remains compliant with the Terms of Service. I even requested them to forfeit any earnings from these suspicious downloads if necessary, but I haven't received any response yet.

Has anyone else experienced this lately? What is the best way to get a response from the support team in such cases? I really value my account and don't want it to be flagged for something I'm not responsible for.

Any advice or guidance from the community or moderators would be greatly appreciated.

Can you share more details on what you call unusual, are you speaking of same image downloads, just a handful of images multiple downloads, or many downloads of different assets?

Then I would not worry about it, specially if the assets are all of the same kind of theme.

I’ve had that happened. Where I have read Adobe has an issue is when a single asset gets downloaded an unusual high number of times in a short time span.

A spike in downloads could be a good thing. 🙂 Especially if these are legitimate transactions.

Adobe Stock have internal systems that detect suspicious account activity. 👿

If your account is being targeted by bots, Stock will block your account while they conduct an internal investigation.

IOW, it’s out of your hands.

I’ve never seen such an unusual spike in downloads. If you have contacted the Support team via the Contact Us link on your dashboard page, that is all you can do. Wait for their reply.

Wait and be patient. Reporting is good but, one report with a case number is sufficient.
