Seeking Feedback on Recent Image Rejections Due to "Quality Issues"

I started uploading AI-based photos to Adobe Stock a few months ago. I'm trying to improve myself in stock photography. But in recent days, the number of rejections has increased dramatically with the reason cited as "Quality Issues."

As a beginner contributor, I'm always striving to improve the quality of my work, and I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice from more experienced members of this community. Specifically, I'm looking to understand what might have led to the rejection and how I can address these issues in the future.

I edit the images in Photoshop (eg. levels, contrast, curves, etc.) but I think I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks in advance for your time and feedback!

In particular, the file 'Art_therapy_session_bright_studio_expressive_paintin_76w.jpeg' is in my opinion too much upscaled and sharpened. it adds unnecessary detail and skin texture where it is not needed.

Kind regards, Flashworks

As for the Japanese culture abstract image, are you sure the text actually says anything? Or is just AI mumbo jumbo? Don't include text in your assets as a general rule.

I appreciate you looking at the pictures in detail. I have a clearer understanding of where I need to look.

The text on the picture says honor in Japanese Kanji. As you say, it seems better not to add text to the pictures.

Looking at your second image:

  • Check the skin texture:

  • Check the eyes, they are not in focus. The texture is washed out. The skin texture is weird.

  • Check the hands, they do not look correct.

Your third: Artefacts and inconsistencies.

Are you sure that the characters are correct?

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I don't know how to read kanji characters but I had it confirmed with two different AIs. Btw it means “honor” 🙂
Other comments say that it would be good if the pictures don't contain text. I would like to know your opinion on this.

AI is not going to tell you if your kanji characters are the correct symbols for honor. If you do a google search, you'll discover it's not even close to what is represented in your image. It's also a popular tattoo.
