Should I delete pending files? 1/3 already rejected for “similar content” & 17 days still in review

Hello,

I’m a contributor and I uploaded a large batch of AI-generated images to Adobe Stock. It has now been 17 days and most of the files are still pending review. About one-third of the batch has already been rejected for “similar content,” while the rest remain in review.

My concern is: should I delete the remaining files that are still pending to avoid the risk of mass rejection, or is it better to leave them and wait for the moderation outcome?

I’m worried that if many more of these pending files also get rejected for the same reason, it could negatively affect my contributor account (e.g., stricter moderation or reduced trust).

Has anyone experienced this situation before? I’d really appreciate advice from experienced contributors or Adobe staff on the best approach here.

Thank you!

Oh my bad, i didn't know this before. But if there any way to inform them then please do that.

Thanks 😊

A number of contributors have contacted contributor support on this issue. They are well aware. Either they are tweaking whatever system is making these "similar content" decisions, or they believe it is working as intended.

17 days is not long. Review times can vary. We normally suggest waiting at least 2 or 3 months before deleting and resubmitting. Unless your assets really extremely similar to each other (Adobe recommends no more than 3 similar assets, and even then they should vary with respect to camera angles, lighting, and other factors). Similar content rejections are very common, and have been for the last few months.

Some of my submitted images have already been rejected for “similar content.” I’m concerned that the remaining pending submissions might also be rejected for the same reason. That’s why I want to ask: should I delete all of the pending files to avoid mass rejection, or just leave them in review?

I’ve noticed that sometimes Adobe automatically rejects pending assets for “similar content,” . Also I noticed lots of assets getting approved even though many very similar collections are already available in the Adobe Stock library.

I do not believe that pending assets are "automatically" rejected by Adobe. We are not aware of the new criteria that Adobe is using to reject assets which are condsidered "similar".
