Hi there!

I am contributor from last one year and selling vectors like icons, badges, stickers, background, and animations, from last 3 weeks my sales drastically decreased in fact my portfolio is increasing day by day but sales is now 1-3 $ per day

Any reason?

The market is fickle! That's the reason!

Buying habits fluctuate with the seasons and annual trends. What sold well 1-2 years ago might not be in high demand today.  It happens.

The only constant in sales is that nothing stays the same.

Hi @Haseen38851597kp5c ,

Actually none of us on this forum can say why this happens. The logical thing is as a portfolio grows it becomes more exposed and more customers buy, thus, a general gradual increase in sales for active contributors. This seem not to be the case in this industry, at least not for those I contribute to. I get the feeling that it depends on the companies' curation and offerings to their customers, in which case, for some of us not many of our files are curated in popular packages. The rest is by chance and since most regular customers buy packages we either see steady token sales or fluctuations that do not go above a certain average sales per month no matter how many files we upload and for how long we have been doing so constantly. This is my opinion and except for titbits of information from the various platforms versus my experience prompting that perception, I have no proof this is so at Adobe. As I said no one on this forum actually knows. That information is only authentic coming from Adobe's sales department whom we are not privileged to access.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

Adobe adds approximately half a million assets to the database every week, which means that there is steadily increasing competition. Several of the categories you describe, like icons and backgrounds, are very competitive, and it's quite likely that Buyers aren't seeing your assets if they're many pages down in the search results.

No reason. Natural fluctuation. It may well be that your types of assets are not getting asked for now, or there are many new assets in your class of contributing. 3 weeks is too short time slice to really see if there is something with your account or assets or if it is a general tendency.
