What a wonderful tool you've been given for rejecting photos. Amazing. Bravo, bravo, bravo. No one can check whether there are actually many similar photos in the database. You can now control the development of new members and those who have started selling their first photos. So they don't threaten you in selling yours. Because what could you possibly think??? I post a photo of an ordinary sunset over a lake – it's accepted. And I think there are hundreds, if not thousands, of similar photos. I post a photo of castle ruins surrounded by a few trees, with a red-orange sky before sunrise in the background. What I see is: Similar content in our collection. I don't think there's much in the database. It's very difficult to take such a photo. Bravo, bravo, bravo. I think – no photos should be accepted anymore, because there are over 835 million photos and videos on Adobe Stock. It's obvious to me that whatever photo you want to post, there are already many similar ones. So no photos should be accepted.

It’s clear that this whole “similar content reason” has nothing to do with actual similars — it’s simply a "carte blanche" for moderators, a way to reject any content whenever they don’t feel like doing their job and reviewing submissions properly. And they make full use of that. In principle, this goes against common sense and the general logic of stock platforms, where fresh content has higher commercial value and should be prioritized. But — they have their own logic and their own view of how things should work.

And honestly, trying to convince anyone or even draw attention to this issue here on the forum makes little sense. Adobe doesn’t consider it a problem for themselves, and, to be frank, contributor problems concern them very little.

It is highly unlikely moderators are making similar content rejections, but a bot, mostly likely based on keywords and titles. Moderators do not have the entire database of images in their heads, nor do they have the time to compare submitted assets to the database itself.

You can find similar content in Adobe Stock inventory by using Adobe's "Find Similar" feature, which analyzes content, color, and composition.

You think I don't know this. And you think I post the same photos, just changing the color or background. But you probably think that by posting images, you'll explain to me why exceptional photos were rejected because they're similar on the website, while common ones were accepted without reservation. Did I offend anyone??? By telling the truth? You're probably the one who offended me by posting these images. And I know perfectly well that many of you participate in the photo verification process. Over 835 million resources—meaning no photo should be accepted because there are 100% many similar ones on the website—I wrote about this in my first post. And where do you get the idea that I'm frustrated or angry because I expressed unfavorable opinions about people who review photos? Pathetic.

Huh? You couldn't be more wrong. We are contributors like yourself. If you're not happy here, there are other sites you can submit to. I've had over 300 assets rejected for similar content. Probably 1 out of every 4 or 5 submissions on average. I DO agree with you on one point: I've had what I feel are unique images rejected for similar content, and I've had assets accepted that I felt certain would not make it through due to similar content. My acceptance rate has dropped from nearly 99% to 89% give or take. I don't bother researching if assets I submit are too similar, because similar ones still get accepted. That's just the way it is right now, and nothing you post here will change that. Email contributor support with your complaints. That is pointless, when many of us are experiencing the same issue.

You're upset, I get it, when I started in January I felt the same frustrations.

Let me know when you get over it and I'll make constructive suggestions.

In the meantime, ERASE from your memory HD destructive ideas in your head and switch into creative mode...

And IGNORE indivuals who perpetuate the idea that bc there are zillions of assets it's nearly impossible to compete.

I don't expect an answer. And I'm not interested in what you have to say. Especially since it's not a response to what's happening, just a bunch of nonsense. Should I get rid of the negative thoughts and then you'll tell me? Why not now? I'm too old for this psychological nonsense (58 years old). I've seen all sorts of things on this website, but unfortunately, it's mostly the rudeness and incompetence of the people who work here.

No one here works for Adobe. Everyone here has been having similar content rejections. There are other stock sites available where this is not an issue. Many are submitting their quality and similar content rejections to other sites.
