SIMILAR CONTENT IN OUR COLLECTION rejection

Hello, I have 3 of my vector images rejected recently all for the same reason: SIMILAR CONTENT IN OUR COLLECTION.

File ID: 1623399449

When I went though almost 4,000 search "yellow pear tomato" results, I found only 4 were actual tomato. The rest were simply "pear," not even tomatoes. Tomato and pear are totally different.

File ID: 1623419572

Out of almost 140,629 search results "set of tomato varieties", I found only aroung 30 were colorful tomato varieties like mine.

File ID: 1623362429

Out of 159 search "San Marzano tomato" results, I only found around 12 actual San Marzano tomatoes.

I didn't find many similar images to mine after those searches. For this reason, I am not sure if this rejection stands. Could anyone help me please.

We are unable to view rejected images. So we don't have much to compare the "similars" to the originals. "Similar" rejections are a sore subject with many contributors. Sometimes it's accurate, other times...no so much. There is no way to request a further review. You can attempt to re-submit, but no more than once. If rejected a second time, move on. When re-submitting, try rearranging or adding new keywords (while still staying on the subject at hand).

Thank you so much for your reply! This is the screen shot of the rejected images. I have started wondering if the submitted images are reviewed by AI because for example, humans could tell the difference between tomatoes and pears.

My own theory, though not necessarily shared by everyone, is that it's an algorithm looking at keywords, rather than AI looking at images. Or maybe a bit of bit. We simply don't know.
