Similar images already submitted!!!

Hello there,

I went from a 95% acceptance rate to 20% or less. Almost all of my submissions are being rejected for the "similar image" reason.

The quality of the images is really good and doesn’t have any issues.

I am uploading at most 2 or 3 variations of each object ,PNGs only and a variety of different items across many categories. I also make sure not to upload similar content that I’ve previously submitted. I am 100% certain that my entire account doesn’t have more than three variations of any given item.

Sometimes, I upload the same object in different styles.

for example, a car in a 3D style and another version in watercolor or clay, so they are still distinct. (2 to 3 variations for each style)

Is this a general issue that will be resolved soon, or is it only affecting me?

Hello everyone. Adobe Stoke made a reject of my photo under the pretext that I posted a similar picture. But this is not true. Can anyone explain what is happening?

hanks for giving us the chance to consider your image. Unfortunately, during our review we found that it's similar to another image(s) you've already uploaded, so we can't accept it into our collection.

Images must be different enough to provide additional value to our customers. We can't accept more than three color variations of the same image or similar images, and models must appear in different situations or with different expressions to be considered. Please be selective and submit only the very best from each image series.

A number of contributors are having assets rejected for being too similar when in fact they are not. We don't know why. Our only option is to wait things out until the situatioin is explained or fixed. Some have ceased to submit new assets in the meantime.

That's good to know.  At least somebody at Stock is taking notice.

A certain degree of relief for the issue of image rejection can be obtained through these trends.

Create images based on the trends listed below. That way, to some extent, you will be able to avoid the issue of image rejection. ☺️☺️

I tried to upload the photos again. With a change in the category and another title they were accepted. Coincidence or just luck?

If it's not too much trouble, tell me what category the photos were originally in and which one you changed them to?

First all of them were plants and flowers. Then i took animals (a leaf with signs of aphids) and food (wild garlic).

Hopefully, it's just a matter of time before whatever is crawling the database looking for similars will find this.

Agree! They should re-review the old hundreds of duplicates in portfolio of the authors to free up some space, but not banning the new. I'm sure that only 1-2 of those 300 sold. other just as ballast

After receiving also the automated response, I sent an email requesting a review.
They continue to claim that my photo (I never use AI) is similar to existing photos on Adobe. Whole adobe.
It seems that the decision is based only on visual criteria, not content. I photograph nature and macro insects.
It looks similar, but it's something completely different. Because of this new guidelines,
I can't upload anything else because I already know everything will be rejected. How will you handle this in the future?

Many contributors face this challenge these days. I invested a lot of time last month, but at the end I had to face "similar image rejection." I tried to investigate what the algorithm likes to approve. So far, it seems to accept the vector files without any issues.

I chased this up today...

Hi,
I am still waiting for a reply re this.
Since my email last week, your Stock Contributor's Discussion Board has been swamped with uploaders all facing the same issue.
There is something not right with your approval system currently, as the majority of complaints come from people, like me, with a previous good record of approvals.
This needs to be looked at by someone, as it just doesn't make sense.
Again, a rote reply is of no use to me and the community. Please take a moment to visit the discussion board, and you will see that the majority of new posts come from people all facing the same issue.

This will not change or be looked at unless EVERYBODY mails
putting strong emphasis on how it's affecting multiple contributors and not just yourself. You will be sent a rote reply, but complain again, asking them to listen to you, visit the board and see for themselves.

I think that there is Adobe's way of saying no, because they are lack of storage for those all AI images that are uploading faster thatn decade before. 700 millions now. 2 years ago was 400 millions

Storage is not the issue. I'm sure Facebook is richer than Adobe, but the number of assets on the latter would pale in comparison.

I just posted about this because I didn't see this post at the time. Yes, I'm having similar issues yet I have some photos that are very similar that are approved. It doesn't make sense. Going to follow this topic. Thanks for posting it.

Good day. Recently, works are often rejected because similar ones have already been uploaded, but this is not true. I upload completely new pictures on new topics and they still write that similar works have already been uploaded. Please help me figure this out. Why is the work rejected if I apparently did not upload it?

If you follow the discussions here in this forum, you will see, that this is an ongoing theme since a while. Apparently, Adobe has introduced a new tool that allows them to detect similar assets in their whole database. You can complain unsing the contributor support link.

Please contact stock contributor support for this.: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/Need-Help-Contact-Us.html

My image was rejected as "Similar Image(s) Already Submitted", but I have never uploaded an image similar to this one, this is the first time I have uploaded an image like this. What can I do to fix this error? And I have seen other contributors asking about this issue as well. Will adobe stock fix it?

Will Adobe fix it? We don't even know for certain if Adobe acknowledges it as an issue that needs fixing, as they have not addressed the problem.

Some of the answers published here point to the fact that Adobe feels that there tool is working well. So in there eyes, there is no need to fix.
