Question

"Similar" issue is counter productive?

A double whammy. Even though I only have 15 assets in review and I upload anywhere from as few as three to 5 assets per day, my submit button is grayed out so I can no longer submit. Why? Because, I assume, so many of my assets have been rejected (wrongfully and unfairly in my strong opinion) because the assets were "too similar." Very frustrating. I'm wondering if the algorithm making this determination is also taking into account assets filling the database that have been unsold for months or even years? This seems very counter-productive if so.

Adobe's servers have been having various technical issues lately. Submitting assets might also be impacted.

System Status: https://status.adobe.com/

It's worth trying again later from another web device.

Also, be sure to report it to Contributor Support.

No luck there. In fact, I just had yet another asset rejected (too similar), which should have opened up a lot in theory. It did not.

Update: This morning, I deleted the image that was not allowing me to submit and re-submitted. It went through. I haven't submitted anything since, so maybe it was the result of a temporary issue on Adobe's end. I haven't submitted any others, but will attempt to do so today and keep my fingers crossed.

Wow, that's disturbing. A limit of only 15 is ridiculous, given how many accounts we're still seeing that are flooding the database with hundreds or thousands of very similar AI backgrounds and such...

This is one of the most recent assets rejected for being "too similar." I mistakenly described it as a man in a hotel room. That's a very short version of the title, but it was the basic concept. Yes, there are over 110,000 images of men in a hotel room, but nothing like this. Which is why I still believe titles and keywords are the culprit. But what else to do? Describe it as something it's not? Use keywords that aren't relevant? Of course not. It's infuriating.

Danielle, to my opinion this is more of a fantasy picture than a real room. Did you submit it as a photo? I'd go go for illustration rather, and describing it in more fantasy / nightmare or whatever unreal way.
