Slow check of png images

Does anyone also have this problem where jpg images are checked faster than png? My png images are stuck.

Evidence suggests that all file types are affected by different contibutors: jpgs, pngs, ai, photos, etc. Some people have videos accepted first over their images and probably just the opposite for others. We just don't know the reason for the slowdown.
