Question

Slow check of vector works

For the last half a month, I have only 20 - 30 vector illustrations checked per week. More than 150 unverified works have already accumulated. I'm only two swordsmen on Adobe Stock, but until that time everything was fine. Previously, they checked more quickly. Can you please tell me what could be the reason for the delay in checking vector works?

Traffic sucks.  But we deal with it.  It's the same with Stock.  Review times vary based on how many other assets are ahead of yours in the wait queue.  It's first come, first served.  Everyone must wait their turn.

Too many contributors are submitting 100s of assets at one time.  This slows the review process down for everyone.

Thank you for your reply! It is interesting that two weeks ago everything was fine - all my vector works were checked in a week. And suddenly the situation deteriorated sharply, the check slowed down ... I will continue to draw, I will look at the situation further.

It may be that Adobe shifted resources from vector and photography moderation to illustrations. We do not know the internal working of Adobe, we only see that people complain of longer than normal mederation.

Continue your work and as long as you have sales, all should be OK.

I think that review time for vectors and other illustrations has been affected by the huge influx of Generative AI assets which have overwhelmed the Moderators. The queue is now estimated at 2 months or perhaps even longer.

Thanks for the answer! Do you think it will always be like this now? What's the point of drawing if they don't check anyway? Or will they still be able to fix the problem and check faster?

Since Adobe started accepting Generative AI ~6 months ago, there has been a "Gold Rush" of new contributors uploading hundreds, or even thousands, of AI assets, and apparently a good portion of them are of poor quality. In order to address the huge influx, Adobe implemented a few months ago a cap on the number of assets that can be under review on an account. The cap amount varies by account based on variables that haven't been publicized, however the review time hasn't improved at all. It does seem that some Contributors have become discouraged by high reject rates, long review waits and low sales, so maybe they'll stop uploading. And maybe Adobe will hire and train more Moderators if they believe it's economically justifiable based on AI sales; but I don't think there will be a significant improvement in review times for a while.
