Question

some 3D illustrations being rejected

Lately I have been uploading and selling a number of 3D illustrations I created.  They are all created using the exact same settings and quality. Until the last week,  were accepted and my sales have been pretty good on them.  of the last 12 submissions, 8 were accepted and 4 were rejected saying the quality isn't acceptable. These are not photographs where its very possible randomg quality issues may happen.  These are digitally created, realistic looking graphic assets that are set the render in exactly the same quality levels. I'm not a noob at creating graphics so I do understand what I'm doing. Is this a case of the peple reviewing files uploaded not knowing what they are doing or maybe using photographic standards to review digital illustrations?

It's very frustrating and feeling like I should use a different site to sell these files on.

Any suggestions?

Check your settings.

And yes: I have a considerable experience also as a 3D artist. I understand 3D quality and I know that it is only the same, when it is exactly the same take with the same parameters and rendering options. If that were the case, it would get refused for “similar image”. I won't rule out, that the moderators change from time to time how they look at assets. And then the refusal rate may increase.

And just to say: I do not have random issues with my photographs.

I'm not asking anyones opinion on my images. I'm asking if others creating
digital file have experienced the same randomness on rejections. Please
read what I asked.

One contributor's rejection rate has nothing to do with another contributor's rejections.  So your question is moot.

Clearly, the reviewer SAW something that didn't make sense.  Perhaps it was bad geometry or an improperly drawn element.  Unfortunately, quality covers a wide range of issues from composition & color balance to perspective, distortion, light source and other things.  Without seeing it, we can't comment either way.

Whatever you decide to do, good luck!
