Stock Submission Stuck in Review

Hello Adobe Stock Community,

I'm writing today to discuss a concern I've been facing regarding my stock submission (generated Ai). It has been in the review section for quite a long time, some of the last reached to (1 month + 10 days). We know that Halloween is just around the corner, and my Halloween stock has been trapped in the review section currently spanning 24 days.
I also wanted to bring up another matter. I've noticed that some AI-generated content related to the recent Hamas-Israel war has been uploaded to the platform, in such time how it is possible?

Due to my limited understanding, I acknowledge that I could be wrong, but my main objective in writing this message is to get clarification and the right advice.

Whatever the reasoning is, it seems that, depending on the theme, there is a fast lane, which makes sense. Halloween returns each year. I would effectively start the submissions 2 months before the targeted publication date and submit each day only one or two of the assets so that they hit at a timely moment. Definitely, it's easier to target whatever you want to submit if the waiting time is shorter and consistent.

I've already had a client ask me to submit some ideas to his company for a Christmas card to send to their customer base. This indicates that people are already looking for ideas well in advance of a given holiday. So in addition to the 2 months waiting time for reviews, I'd suggest submitting holiday themes as much as 3 or 4 months in advance going forward.

That's correct. And you will have 3 types of customers:

  • Early birds: They started planning Christmas and new year in summer and are finishing their designs today.
  • Standard: They start today and finish their design in early December.
  • Late birds: They start in December and finish the designs on Christmas Eve.

All of those need to get new assets just in time.

Submissions can take up to 2 months to be reviewed before things kick in and your submissions are reviewed regularly. We don't know enough about Adobe's review process to comment on the Hamas-Israeli issue, other than that it's of more importance than Halloween. Concentrate now on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's themes.

No one knows why some content is reviewed quickly, while others languish in the queue for months. Adobe still claims that assets are reviewed on a first-in / first-out basis, but there is plenty of evidence to the contrary.
