Submission Disabled New Contributor Issue

  • Hello Adobe Team,

I am a new contributor and I have uploaded my first 10 files. I have added proper titles, keywords, and categories. However, I am seeing a message saying “Submission Disabled” and I cannot submit my files.

The message says: “Please set up your payout information before submitting content.”

I was under the impression that payout setup was only needed before receiving payment, not before submitting content.

Could you please confirm if this is a new policy for new contributors? And is there any official documentation or link regarding this update?

I want to make sure I follow all the guidelines correctly.

Thank you for your support!

Adobe is asking for your verified PayPal, Payoneer or Skrill account so you can receive royalty payments.

Adobe also needs your Tax Withholding form so you can get paid.

They may be doing this to prove that you're an actual human and not a robot impersonator.

Is this an issue or a new update?

It's now a required part of enrollment in the Contributor program.

I feel it's prudent to get this done, before you accrue any sales. If, for whatever reason, the bank account cannot be obtained, you're not out any investment of time or assets.

You're talking to fellow contributors, not the Adobe Contributor support.

And yes, setting-up the payment information is a new thing, as before this, you would indicate at each payout request the payment account. And if the message says you should set up payout information, you will need to do that.

You go to your contributor account, and you can set up the payment information there: https://contributor.stock.adobe.com/account.
