Question

Submission limit reached

Hello Support Team,

I’ve been unable to submit new files since early October 2025 due to the “You’ve reached your submission limit” message.  Currently, my account has only 4 files pending review, and 49 new files waiting to be submitted, but the system still doesn’t allow me to add metadata or proceed with submission.

I understand that this may be related to the temporary upload pause or moderation queue system, but it seems unusual since my pending content is very limited and the issue has persisted for more than a week.

Could you please check whether my account is still under a submission restriction or affected by the current moderation queue delay?

Thank you for your help and support.

Regards,

Lady Rose

  • Wait 8 days before submitting more assets.
  • Adobe has implemented both weekly and maximum limits on submissions to stop abuse and prevent backlogs.
  • Focus on quality rather than quantity.
  • Submit 2-3 of your best assets at a time. Wait a day and repeat.
  • As you gain more experience and approved assets, your submission limits will increase gradually.

Hope that helps.

Each account has a weekly submission limit based on a number of factors that Adobe hasn't revealed to us. Keep checking back daily and you'll eventually discover what that limit is. You can still add titles and keywords to assets in the "New" tab so that they're ready to submit when the Submit button is no longer grayed out.

This is all we know regarding this issue, as per Adobe's announcement: "We’re introducing updated submission limits for Adobe Stock Contributors to help maintain the strength and quality of our growing collection. These updates support the continued success of both our Contributor community and customers alike. When you reach your weekly submission limit or the maximum amount of allowed content pending moderation, you will experience a temporary pause before you can submit additional content."

What we don't know is if the pause remains stays in effect for a period of time whether pending assets get reviewed or whether they don't. We do know that prior to the limit being set, new contributors were limited to 50 submissions until a certain number of assets were licensed or a certain period of time had elapsed, after which a contributor could upload up to 500 assets. In any event, the pause time appears to be different for different contributors.

You have a "Contact us" link at the bottom of your Dashboard. That is the only way you have of contacting Adobe Contributor Support. Here in this forum, you cannot contact Adobe.
