Submission limit reached after uploading only 2-3 photos – Need help!

Hi everyone,

I am facing an issue with my Adobe Stock contributor account. Whenever I upload and submit just 2 or 3 photos, I immediately get a "submission limit reached" error, even though my account is relatively new and I haven't uploaded in bulk.

Could someone please guide me on why this is happening? Is there a temporary restriction on new accounts, or how can I resolve this issue?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    • Weekly limits reset in 8 days.
    • Maximum submission limits reset when your pending assets have been reviewed.

New account limits start small & gradually increase as you gain more experience and sales history.

    • Concentrate on quality over quantity.
    • Wait for feedback after submitting.
    • You can learn more from rejections than approvals.

This is the first time I hear of such low number of submissions reaching limit. The only thing I can suggest is that if I Submit on a Friday afternoon it could be until Tuesday to get a decision, and yesterday (Tuesday I resubmitted) previously rejected photos, and this morning all were approved 🤷🏻‍♂️

It appears to me Adobe Stock is trying new ways to mitigate fraud and catch bad assets.

    Patience is required!

    From Adobe:

We’re introducing updated submission limits for Adobe Stock Contributors to help maintain the strength and quality of our growing collection. These updates support the continued success of both our Contributor community and customers alike. When you reach your weekly submission limit or the maximum amount of allowed content pending moderation, you will experience a temporary pause before you can submit additional content.

Dynamic Submission Quotas (Weekly Limit & Pending Moderation Limit):

    • Adobe Stock has implemented updated submission limits to maintain collection quality and manage the volume of content, especially with the rise of generative AI submissions.
    • These limits are not a fixed number for all contributors. They are dynamic and based on several factors related to your account's performance and history, including:
      • Your weekly submission limit.
      • The maximum amount of content you can have pending moderation (in review).
      • Your approval rate and sales performance—a higher acceptance rate and more sales can generally increase your limit over time.
    • When you reach either your weekly limit or the maximum number of allowed files pending moderation, you will experience a temporary pause before you can submit more content. The limit resets once the pending files have been reviewed or the weekly period resets.
