Dear all

I have my photos being rejected upon first submission. I have attached 3 of total about 90 which I expect ot be rejected too.

Any thoughts on why?

thanks

Lorenz

Correct answer Jill_C

The first one is over saturated and contains artifacts in the sky.

In the second image the iron grating is not in focus.

Composition seems to be the issue in the third image since you haven't included enough of the boat, or whatever it is...it's also over saturated.

Thanks for your useful and detailed feedback. I can see what you say except for the first pic: What do you mean by artifact in the sky?

When you zoom in and inspect the sky carefully you see speckles of color and posterization, which could have resulted from the editing steps you applied. Go back to the original image and inspect it without any edits, then figure out which editing step caused the problem.

Too much saturation for all images at a first sight.
