Assets accepted in error is likely to be refused in the future. Your portfolio is at risk of getting blocked if it is found to be overwhelm with non-compliant assets.

You should stop that. Having assets accepted that are not according to the guidelines does not mean that Adobe will, in the future, accept those or that Adobe will not request you to delete the faulty assets. They've blocked contributors before for non-conforming but accepted content.

Save them as JPEG, highest quality, and you will be good.

The Adobe guidelines state that PNG's are to be used only for assets with transparency; however, we continue to hear of cases where the assets are accepted anyway. I don't think you should conclude that it's okay to continue doing so.

If there is no transparency, you should only submit them as jpgs. Myself, I'd delete and resubmit as a jpg, as someone purchasing the image may expect the image to have a transparent background.
