Submit report to photographer/Adobe about websites using photos without licenses

Hi all,

 

I stumbled on 2 websites using Adobe stock images without purchasing the licenses to these images..
I am searching for the photographers, wich i found.. But no contact details are shared on the stock website.

 

Does anybody know how and where i can report this to someone?

They could be a legitimate authorized partner site using the Adobe Stock API. 

 

Unless your are effected directly, I think it's wrong to meddle.

Be careful who you report for abuse. 

It could come back to bite you. 😉

    How would they get so many images from Adobe Stock without licensing them?  The only way to get photos without watermarks from Adobe Stock is to license them.

    They stole it from a website that bought the licenses.

    In my view, if this turns out to be accurate then this isn't a matter for Adobe to solve. 

     

    As unfortunate as image theft is, I think this would be a matter between the photographer and the parties using the photos.  Again, if this is true and accurate.

      Read Clause 2.2 of the Adobe Stock Contributor Agreement which covers Adobe's agreement with other providers via the API program.

        You do not know who is using licenced and who is using unlicensed assets. Most reports we get for sites are clearly OK and are subcontractors for Adobe. You are free to post links to the sites here so that we can have a look into them.

         

        As a side note: what does this have to do with “Asset Quality” and  “Plans…”? Select only relevant topics, please.

        Actually i am 100% sure that they do not bought the licenses for there images.. I have my reasons to know this!
        I tried to find and contact the photographer myself but no succes...

        Here are the websites using them:

        Adobe will not give contact details for their photographers.

        Adobe will not send message for their photographers.

        Adobe will accept IP violation reports ONLY from the copyright holder.

        Thank you for your diligence but you can do nothing with this info.

        How can you possibly know there is no license to the image? As a photographer, you do not get a report of purchasers, nor a list of the web sites it is allowed on.  Or - is this a site offering the full Adobe Stock catalog for a purpose (like tee shirts or wall pictures)?

        I know 100% sure they did not pay to use these images. Otherwise i wouldnt write this here ofcourse. 🙂
