Question

Submitted appeal (Case #00503355) and followed up 2 weeks ago with no response. Is this delay normal for contributor account reviews? Should I take further steps while waiting?

I submitted my appeal through the official Contact Us form and received case number 00503355. I also sent a polite follow-up in the same email thread after waiting more than two weeks.

At the moment, I have not received any additional updates regarding the review status. I would simply like to know whether this waiting period is considered normal for contributor account investigations and whether there are any further steps I should take while waiting.

Thank you for any guidance.

    In the meanwhile, should i make a new account?

    ==========

    No.

    As of March 25, 2025, contributors are not permitted to create and operate multiple contributor accounts.

    There’s nothing more for you to do, except wait.

    If your account was deactivated for content or TERMS violations, an appeal is no guarantee that you’ll hear anything. Sadly, most people don’t read the rules they agreed to until it’s too late.

    Work on other projects & submit to other services while you wait.

    Good luck.

    Yes, many contributors reporting a long time for a response. Some claim that they’ve never received a response.

    Nothing. You have a case number. You wait.

    Investigations have been known to take weeks and even months, the number of cases ahead of yours being at least one factor for any delay. Do not send follow up emails, as this can create additional ticket numbers and further delay the process.

    In the meanwhile, should i make a new account or wait for them?

    Multiple accounts are not allowed. If your exiting account is eventually re-opened, you’ll have two accounts and you could conceivably lose both. Your only option is to wait or submit to other stock agencies in the mean time.
