Question

suspicious activity or fake downloads

Hello everyone,

I joined Adobe Stock Contributor about two months ago and I mainly upload motion graphics / animation videos. So far, I have received 8 downloads in total, but 5 of those downloads came from the same asset.  Because I am still new to the platform, I am a little concerned and confused about whether this is normal customer behavior or if it could be considered suspicious activity or fake downloads. I have never tried to manipulate downloads or violate any rules.

I want to know the best and fastest way to contact Adobe support for contributor-related issues. Should I use live chat, email, contributor support form, or another method?

If you have actual proof of fraud or suspicious account activity, contact Contributor Support from the contact link in your Contributor portal.

Adobe Customer Care is for product billing and subscription issues only.

They can’t help you with Stock Contributor matters. That’s not their wheelhouse.

Leave well enough alone.  Don’t stir up trouble where there isn’t any.

Repeat sales from the same asset is fairly common because assets that sell get more visibility.

Stock has internal warning systems that alert them to suspicious account activity & fraud. Trust the system to do its job.

Calling attention to a non-issue could get your account blocked for weeks or months while they conduct an internal audit.  You really don’t want to go there.

When an asset is clicked or better yet sold, it receives preference in the the search order. So it is very possible that an asset is often downloaded.

Once an asset is purchased, its chances of appearing in a buyer’s search is increased. It’s also unlikely someone with, say, a stolen credit card, would keep coming back to purchase the same asset. I’ve had a couple hundred assets that have sold multiple times, sometimes on the very same day. You do not need to contact support.
