Swan eating in river: Intellectual Property Refusal

Not sure of the intellectual property issue.

Are swans protected by intellectual property? Honestly, I don't know. (well I heard something about them being royal or something)

There are no people, no buildings, nothing except a swan swimming in a river with it's head going under water to get something to eat.
A screenshot of part of the video.

The image you posted is too small but, still I see quality errors. For one bad cropping, too dark, and not focused.

Hey @RALPH_L

I agree the image I submitted is terribly small. Not the best representation of the vid.

I have had other videos accepted; I was baffled by being rejected for "intellectual property issue," as I am especially aware of my surroundings: no brands, names, people and any other sort of intellicual property recognition.

I do my best not to submit something if there is any sort of branding or intellicual infringement; unless, given consent.  The reason for video recording animals and other natural environments.

I appreciate your feedback.

Cheers

Nate

In their haste to examine thousands of submissions per week, the moderator may have hurriedly hit the wrong button.

It probably should have been refused for Quality/Technical issues. What you posted here is not a high quality image.

That said, wildlife in zoos & privately owned animal parks are protected by IP.  In such cases, you would need a signed release form from the park's owners to use their animals commercially.

Hope that helps.

Hey @yamato713108855

I appreciate the Qs. There were mention of names, brands, company names or anything else.
I have had other content uploaded and accepted. I was surprised about the swan not being accepted.
Swan, river, ect.

I appreciate the feedback.
The screenshot is not exactly the best shot; I do acknowledge this.
