Hi everyone. I am from India and while I was uploading pictures on Adobe Stock there was an appearance of a dialog box suggesting that i should fill a tax form, so is it necessary to fill out that form and what happens if I don't fill that form?

You will get taxed 30% or whatever rate is in use in the USA as the default rate. And I think that you can't get paid.

The system works like this:

You need to check if India has an double imposition agreament with the USA. Most countries have.
You need to apply for a tax id number with the American tax administration.
You need to fill out that tax formular and send it to Adobe.
You declare whatever you earn with your Indian tax declaration and pay your taxes on that revenue in India.
