Tax Form W-8BEN Tax Witholding

I am a UK individual. The US (IRS) will withold tax on any of my Stock sales.

I have been asked to provide a Foreign Tax Identifying Number (FTIN)

item 6a on the W-8BEN Form. I am at a loss as to where to find such a

number?Any UK-based Aobe Stock Contributors there to help me? 🙂

Like @Ricky336 said, your UK tax number. If you are not required to pay UK tax and you have no number then check 6b.

This number will be your tax number. So in item 6a, insert your UK tax number.

(This will probably be your NI number.)
