Technical Error Help

Thanks for all the responses.  I still think the rejected shot is nicer and more interesting than the accepted one. 

In my view, you have a magenta tint in your waterfall, giving the water and overall picture a magenta cast. This is due to the green foliage of the plants. You have to compensate for this in post production. In PS, Auto color is a quick and easy method to correct for color balance. In your accepted shot, there isn't enough green to cause a magenta cast. The water is white.

Remove the magenta cast, and you get this:

Color balance/white balance is also a technical issue.

as far as the technical problems are concerned, there are two reasons for refusal. Too high contrast and too high saturation in the image (plants). This leads to an unnatural picture effect and therefore to rejection.

If you compare both pictures under this aspect you can see the difference. Generally one should pay attention to handle the image processing very sensitively and not to exaggerate it.

Hi, These are lovely photographs - so much like my area here in Oregon.

If you will examine these two offerings at 100% magnification, I believe you will see the second photograph has a few focus problems.  Some of the rocks in the foreground and even the center rock have blurred areas. Odd, the upper background seems more in focus than the foreground. Adobe does not want even artistic blurred areas - a customer can put that in where wanted. Motion in water is not considered a blur in either picture. Be sure to look at guidelines for Adobe Stock contributions. Best regards, JH
