Could anyone tell what can be improved in this image so that it won't get rejected next time?

First of all, you should not have desaturated the green leaves.

The partial leaf on the right and the background objects in the lower left and lower middle should be removed.

You have some halo and blue branches. This comes from your desaturating the leaves.

You could use some sharpening.

The histogram shows a bit of underexposure and the photo looks a bit soft to me.  I couldn't get any exif info from the image, it's helpful to include that.  Something about the colors appears a bit off to me, maybe this is a selective color sort of edit?

In my experience Adobe is mostly looking for photos without filters or heavy editing.  I know those are the kinds of photos I look for when doing composites.

Good luck with future submissions!
