Technical Problems

Hello,

The flower doesn't have the 'wow' factor. It is poorly composed, the lighting is not very good - uneven, you have a shadow in the bottom corner, and the focus is not very good either. You need the petals to be in focus.

There are a gazillion photos of flower shots, so this subject matter has been done to death.

Just take a look at these shots:

Getting photos accepted is one thing. To have them sell is another!!

in addition to what @Jill_C  mentioned, your photo is poorly cropped. If you are going to cut off portions of the subject, do it with purpose. I suggest something like this:

It's not uniformly focused and the lighting is uneven. The lower right corner should have been lightened up during editing.
