technical quality of images

good day to all.
I am completely at a loss.... I would like to hear comments on these pictures, which depict the texture of the cross-cut structure of wood and burnt by blanching technology. no filters were used on the photos themselves, and there are no noises.

I agree with @Jill_C about the underexposure and soft focus at 100% view in various shots.  In addition, the shots that have a white background have noticeable spots and dark spots around the outside edges.

Errors like these are easy to detect and to correct. The exposure is also erroneous.

I agree with @Jill_C about the underexposure and soft focus at 100% view in various shots.  In addition, the shots that have a white background have noticeable spots and dark spots around the outside edges.

I looked at the first few (not all 8). When I zoom in past 100% the focus appears to be soft. The 3rd one is quite underexposed, and the 4th one somewhat underexposed.
