Good day friends! Tell a beginner, does the number of megapixels in a photo affect its sales? I just uploaded about 1000 photos and only now noticed that when exporting, the number of megapixels decreased from 21 to 8.

What is the height & width of your images in pixels?

 

Adobe Stock recommends: "No less than 1,600 x 2,400 pixels for JPG."

Yes, theoretically the asset size can affect saleability. One of the search filters Buyers can use to filter out unwanted images is size. If they filtered out images below 10MB, for instance , yours would never be seen.
