Wondering if anyone might have an idea what that might be.

Snapshots are for social media.  Adobe Stock is a commercial assets business.  😉

  • What commercial value does this image have for professional content creators?
  • Would you buy it?
  • What would you use it for?
  • Did you compare your work with other Stock inventory?

  • Does your image quality meet or exceed what Stock has?

If you answered "no" or "I don't know" to any of these questions, it's not suitable for Stock.

You might enroll in some photography courses or join a photography club. It's a great way to meet new people and go on photo field trips together.  Have fun!

Here's my trick for finding all the sensor / lens spots. In Lightroom Classic move the Dehaze slider all the way to the right. The spots will really stand out. Use the healing brush to get rid of them, then re-center the Dehaze slider.

Hi Jill,

Thanks I will try that.

Hello,

The photo is flat - more contrast is needed. But there is another problem. If you adjust the contrast/tone you get banding.

Did you take this in raw or JPEG?

This won't pass!

Hi Ricky,

It was taken in Raw.

The midtones are all shoved over to the white side and there are no blacks.

This makes the photo look flat with no contrast.

Notice the difference when it is adjusted.

Also, there are several sensor spots in the photo that need to be removed.
