You can submit to more than one provider. But Adobe should definitively be included.

The advantage Stock has over other platforms is that it is integrated into the most popular design software.

As for trends, rather than finding out what the most popular trends are I'd suggest finding out what images there isn't many of already. For me it makes more sense to throw images up that have little competition than ones that get lost in the thousands of comparable images.
