two photos in review for 5 and 8 months each

It's unfortunate that you need to wait a long time to know that the asset is stuck in the moderation queue. However, the only method currently is to resubmit. 

There's no way to get the attention of the Moderators on these apparently overlooked images. It has been suggested here that deleting and re-uploading them will help.
