Unable to Upload due to Resolution Size

Hoping to finally upload and start contributing, my first try and the following error message arose.  The info on my Mac says it's 6MB.  So why isn't it enough?  How can I rectify this?  Thanks. Karen

Megapixels are the number of pixels your camera has, not to be confused with megabytes which denote the image file size.

To be a Stock photographer, you need a decent digital camera that can produce high quality images. Modern iPhones & iPads have 12-Megapixel cameras.  But most good DSLR cameras have 20-35 MP or more...

Keep in mind that Stock's image quality standards are the same for everyone regardless of what kind of camera you use.
