Understanding Missing Sellers on Adobe Stock & Best Practices for Social Media Promotion

Hello Adobe Stock Contributor Community,

I have noticed that some top seller accounts do not appear in the recent weekly top sellers list on Adobe Stock. I’m curious about what exactly causes a seller to be missing from these lists. Is it related to policy violations, account suspensions, or some other reason?

As an active contributor, I want to understand what lessons I should take away from this to stay compliant and maintain visibility in the marketplace. How can sellers avoid pitfalls that lead to being dropped from top seller rankings or having assets removed?

Also, I’m considering promoting my Adobe Stock portfolio through social media channels like Pinterest and Instagram. Is this practice considered legit and effective by the community? Are there any best practices or things to watch out for when doing such promotions to bring more customers to Adobe Stock?

I would appreciate detailed insights and personal experiences from experts and seasoned contributors here.

Thank you!

I have bookmarked one top seller's Account to get idea about what he upload. But now his profile not showing in list and bookmarked link now. Showing error msg "Account Not Found..."

That's interesting. That may well be the best indication that this account has been suspended.

Why don't you read how the top sellers are calculated:

  • Contributors are eligible to be featured at most once every five weeks. This selection process is subject to change in the future.

Also, you probably shouldn't include your ChatGPT prompts or whatever that is in your post.

Sorry for that, thanks for understanding. I read how the top sellers are calculated, but I'm referring to accounts I saw in the recent top seller list before that are now missing and its same in all available list of top seller , photos category

That isn't really an issue that is interesting. If there was a violation of some kind by one of those, Adobe would not tell us what it was, and they would probably replace the contributor. So, whatever it is, it is of very minor importance  for most contributors.

How did you notice that? You can't know who is a top seller and who is not.You need to check the rules for appearing as a top seller.

And you can promote your portfolio on social media. I wouldn't do, as buyers won't check social media for finding the assets.

There is only one account showing, although there usually are ten.

Maybe they are in the process of updating it. Or a bug. It's a non-issue in any case.

Yes, you can promote your portfolio on social media. But bear in mind that buyers usually come directly to Adobe Stock, not social sites, to look for assets. But if you wish to show off or promote your work through same, there are no issues with doing so.

Yes, I'm referring to sharing my assets with the Adobe watermark and that asset adobe link. Could sharing them this way be harmful to me in any way? Also, I'm still looking for the reason why those accounts are no longer in the recent top seller list.
Thanks

How do you know that top sellers are not in the top seller list?
