I have several image files that I have uploaded and are still in review status until now in the past 3-4 months the status has not changed

This is normal these days, especially if you are new to Adobe Stock. Your only option is to wait and while continuing to work on projects to prepare them for submission when you start to get assets accepted.

I'm not new to Adobe Stock and have pending files submitted 5 months ago

I have about a dozen files that have now exceeded 5 months while many newer submissions have already been reviewed. Adobe no longer reliably adheres to the first-in/first-out rule.
