Urgent: My Contributor Account Was Disabled Unexpectedly

Today my Adobe Stock contributor account was suddenly deactivated. I have never done anything illegal or against Adobe rules. All the content I upload is created by me. I make my own AI images using Adobe Firefly, and I also create my own professional video content.

On 16 November 2025, my account received more than 300 downloads, and after I requested my payout, my account was deactivated. I feel this might be a system misunderstanding or an automatic review issue.

I have already submitted a request through the Adobe Stock Contributor Support Form, but I also wanted to ask here:

Has anyone faced this before?
How long does Adobe usually take to respond?
Is there anything else I should do?

I hope to recover my account because I always follow Adobe Stock guidelines and upload only original work.

Thank you to anyone who can guide me.

Your request for payout triggered the review of your account. If 300 downloads in one day are unusual and out of place, Adobe will block your account and try to determine what the cause was.
You have done all you can by appealing. Now you have no option except to wait. Wait time can be weeks to months or longer. We have heard various reports.

Wow, same thing happened to me . . . huge sales spike 2 weeks ago selling like 180 clips. I took a payout a week later as I always do at the end of each month.  Account was suspended for suspicious activity tonight.  Was yours resolved?  I am unfortunately not convinced this will be a quick process and its impossible to talk work this out with their automated system

The payout request triggered a review of youzr account, as each payout request does. If there is suspicious activity as in your case, they will suspend your account. There is no AI involved, only statistics, and some account checking.

To your questions:

Has anyone faced this before? Yes, a lot of contributors. Most stay disconnected as Adobe strongly suspects them in being part of a revenue increase scheme.

How long does Adobe usually take to respond? Months, depending on the number of cases they currently have and the complexity of their investigation.

Is there anything else I should do? Waiting. All you can do is waiting for Adobe's answers.

In the meantime, I suppose you have a lot of assets to submit to competitors' sites. At least your non-AI stuff will be welcome there.

If your account has been suspended, there is nothing that this community of peers can do for you. You will need to contact Adobe contributor support via the link at “Contact us”. Adobe will answer via e-mail, so watch your spam folder. The answer may take some time, depending on the workload of contributor support and the complexity of the investigation. So be patient and do not spam the contributor support.

Here is what you did: a man robbed a bank and on the way out dropped a bag with cash.  You walked by

10 minutes after find the bag  (that says Community Bank), take it and keep it.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt... if you receieved a sudden increase in a day's downloads that is 10 20 or 3 times for for an average day... WHY WOULD THE FIRST THING YOU DO IS request payment? You didn't for one moment think this was not organic or normal?

Even if you're in another country, Adobe has live chats where you could have stated and recorded the incident. You're account probably would have been suspended, but after an investagation, you would have most likely be reinstated it.

But wait, there's more... I am annoyed by this frequent stories describing very similar incidents, and I am waiting to read the first person who says I totally made a mistake and fkd up.

Yet, you make zero acknowledgment of your actions, and ask for guidelines...

Good luck learning from your mistakes, maybe Adobe reinstates you, but if I was you I'd be looking for another  stock agency

to sell your work.

Nothing to Cheer!

Dude, same thing happened to my account.  Except I let the money sit there for weeks expecting that it was some kind of issue. Then, at the end of the the month, like I usually do, money was still there, and I requested a payout.  Adobe never came back for the money, I never got a notice.  Nothing.  Is it unusual, sure, is it impossible, no . . . nor is it the contributors responsibility to police the ins and and outs of adobe check sums systems.  They don't want to pay and it's a scam, fine.  I don't really care.  but to blame the creator for something we cannot control is absurd.  the payout triggered the event, not even the mass purchasing.  While I did think mine odd, I waited weeks before the payout, what was I supposed to do?  You tell me what better response would have been?
