Question

usage of my sold photos

Hi everyone,

just for curiosity is there any way to see where my sold photos have been used or published? I can only see how many downloads/payments but I can`t see the destination. If it`s for private use I understand it may not be disclosed, but what about other uses?

thanks!

Giovanni

No, it is the great mystery of Adobe Stock image sales - Where did it go? How was it used? Maybe someday you will find one of them "in the wild". In the Adobe Stock Discord Community there is actually a channel labeled "in the wild" where people post their images which they have come across in publications or advertising.

I have sold numerous times an image of giraffes mating that I captured on safari in Africa. I have always been quite curious as to how that image has been used!

Bear in mind that, if a person licenses an Adobe Stock image, they get a license to use it, with conditions. They are not required to tell Adobe (or anyone else) when they use the image on a web size, magazine, the side of a building, or advertising camaign... so it's un-knowable...

There is literaly no way possible. Search engines will only show your photo if it was used in internet and was indexed by the engine. Print and all other usages are impossible to find.

Not at Adobe Stock. You can use Google Images or other tools.
